Using Calendar

Content Hub Ops provides a calendar interface allowing users to quickly find content items by date. Users can use free text search or narrow results using filters.

Access Calendar

To access the Calendar page:

  1. Click Content on the navigation bar.
  2. Click Calendar in the drop-down menu.

Time Span

Use the arrows at the left of the calendar header to move forward or backward in time. Click the Today button to return to today’s date.

Use the Calendar view drop-down menu to toggle between time spans:

  • Day
  • Week
  • Work Week
  • Month
  • Agenda

Filters

Use the available filters at the top of the Calendar to filter content that displays within the timeframe shown. Filters are additive and contextual; available options in the drop-downs will update live based on what data is available for display. For example, if there is no content matching a particular content sub-type, that sub-type will not be available as a possible selection in the Content Sub-Type filter.

Filters include:

  • Content Sub-Type
  • Content Template
  • Organizational Entities
  • Topics
  • Life Cycle Status
  • Publish Status

Search Bar

Located at the top of the Calendar, the Search bar allows full-text search across all content and all metadata fields to return results within the displayed timeframe.

To use:

  1. Navigate to the Content/Search page from the navigation bar.
  2. Click into the Search bar.
  3. Enter a keyword or phrase (e.g., “campus sustainability”).
  4. Hit Enter. The Calendar only displays content matching the search query.
  5. Click a result to open the item.

Tips

  • If an expected result does not appear, try adjusting the timeframe displayed.
  • Use quotation marks around a phrase to require an exact match.
