Content Hub Operations is how University Communications and Marketing refers to the collective set of tools including the Sitecore Content Hub Content Marketing Platform, or CMP; Marketing Resource Management, or MRM; and Digital Apps Connector, or CI HUB. Together, Content Hub Operations becomes a centralized tool set used for managing the ideation, creation and distribution of content within MSUToday. Content Hub Operations is currently used exclusively by University Communications and Marketing staff.
Users of Sitecore Content Hub will have the ability to:

The content type cannot be changed once the item has been created. Delete the item and initiate a new content item.
You’ll need to manually type the link. See “Prepare to Publish” for more information.

Work, Search and Calendar functions appear under the Content tab in Content Hub Ops.
Text-based search and filters make it easy to find content within Content Hub Ops.
Various view formats enable a traditional calendar perspective of planned and published content.
The selection of a Content Sub-Type determines the Content Template. Templates determine available data fields, structure and layout of content items.
Content items flow through various workflows, depending on the content sub-type.
The following pages offer step-by-step instructions for each state in the content production workflow. Follow these steps, in order, as dictated by the content sub-type and content template needs for the project.
