Sprinklr Platform

Enterprise Social Media Management

Sprinklr is an enterprise social media management system used by University Communications and Marketing and units across campus to manage their social media presence. The tool allows for scheduling and publishing content, monitoring accounts, reporting analytics with custom metadata, researching conversation themes, providing clickable links on Instagram posts and embedding social media posts or feeds on webpages — all from one platform interface. University Communications and Marketing provides training and documentation resources for Sprinklr, and the University Communications and Marketing platforms group supports users across campus.

Platform Benefits

  • Draft and schedule all social media content in one space.
  • Monitor conversations and activity on accounts (Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and more.)
  • Schedule automatic delivery of customized analytic reports to anyone on the  team.
  • Access from any computer or smartphone for on-the-go work.
  • Share social media account access and analytics among teams within the department or college using customized workflows. (Requires one seat per staff member. Sprinklr seats cannot be shared.)
  • Develop workflows to assign message tasks to other team members.
  • Create restrictions on what an individual user seat can do in the system. For example, allow student interns to draft content without posting to accounts.
  • Share campaigns and assets with other department or campus users for campuswide communications initiatives.
  • Join the campus user community and share tips on how to make the most of the tool.
  • Gather all unit account analytics in one place and report on the account, channel, program, department or college level.
  • Create highly customizable reports with hundreds of available metrics or create unit-specific metrics for reporting.
  • Add custom metadata to posts to report in ways not available from native platform analytics.
  • Gather research on audience and relevant topic conversation using the Quick Search listening tool, helpful for testing messaging and developing communications, pitches and SEO strategy.
  • University Communications and Marketing pays the enterprise costs associated with setting up and maintaining the system.
  • Units only pay for their seat(s) to access the system.
  • University Communications and Marketing does the work of building the user environment and training unit staff, allowing users to focus on unit content and strategy.
  • Seat costs are lower than the public Sprinklr rate.

Learn More and Request Access

Units interested in discussing seat allocations, price and how to purchase access to the Sprinklr system should contact Katie Kelly in University Communications and Marketing via email at kkelly@msu.edu for more information.

As part of the account creation process, units will be asked to sign a memorandum of understanding agreeing to pay for their seat access. University Communications and Marketing staff will then work with the unit to develop the unit’s Sprinklr workspace, import their accounts and train team members.
