Sharing Insights

Presentations

Presentations offer a way to share real-time, dynamic data with great visualizations and branded templates. These are created using a WYSIWYG (or what you see is what you get) editor and style kits. All MSU Sprinklr users receive access to a branded style kit, but users also may create additional kits for their unit.

Using Presentations, users can consolidate reports across departments or account groups, add context to the data and allow unit dashboards to tell a story. They also offer great ways to present data to colleagues, but keep in mind that the data updates live, so consider what widgets will be shown to avoid surprises. For example, a user might choose to filter out hidden posts to remove vulgarities.

Presentations can be exported as PDFs and shared to non-Sprinklr users via a sharable URL (with security settings to control access properly).

Scheduled Report Delivery

Users can schedule automatic exports of data and dashboards and have them delivered to anyone via email. This is a great solution if a user must frequently provide the same types of data to leadership or team members.

Instructions to Schedule Report Exports
  1. Create a dashboard including the information necessary to be conveyed.
  2. Add text boxes, labels, formatting, etc., to frame the information so that it is easy to understand without someone being there to explain it.
  3. Confirm it displays as desired on export with a test run: view as a PDF (or other preferred format), send to the test recipient email address, open the file and confirm the results are acceptable.
  4. Schedule the export. Click the left-side navigation menu > settings > scheduled exports and click “Add Scheduled Export” in the upper right corner of the page that appears. Choose the dashboard previously created, adjust settings for how, what and when to export and click “Export.”
