Tier Tags

What are Tier Tags?

Each account is assigned a Tier 1 and Tier 2 tag. These tags are custom fields, and they correlate to unit structures within MSU and within Sprinklr, when possible. The selection of these two tags controls the visibility and availability of other custom fields for publishing and reporting. Tier 1 and Tier 2 tags typically correspond to a unit's Account Groups and User Groups. Please see those respective pages for a list of tags.

A Tier 3 tag may be added if it is necessary to meet the unit’s reporting needs. Tier 3 tags are unit-specific and are visible in Sprinklr after selecting the controlling Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 tags on an outbound message.

Note: Tier tags are added during the unit onboarding process. If the unit is adding a new group of accounts or a new initiative and requires a change to the unit’s tier tags, please contact Comms.WebSupport@msu.edu to request the change.
