Audience management tools allow Sprinklr users to research information about social media accounts that have interacted with MSU accounts. View profile details, historic interactions and public posts from the account. Sprinklr users can also use audience management tools to control who is eligible to see social posts via gated content and targeted audiences.

A Sprinklr user can search for specific social media users who have interacted with accounts connected to the Sprinklr system or who have posted messages containing keywords matching a listening insights topic.
To run a search:
A Sprinklr user can view a user profile, including the bio, account metadata, interaction history and more, using the User Profile panel. This is accessed by selecting a profile from either the universal search results listing or by clicking on the profile name on a message in a dashboard.
Selecting a user profile will open the User Profile panel on the right side of the screen. A vertical navigation bar along the side of the panel enables the Sprinklr user to view different content associated to that user profile.
Standard user profile tabs include:
The icon on the profile image indicates what channel the profile is housed on. Sprinklr does not unify data for users across channels (i.e., X and Facebook) or across multiple accounts on the same channel (i.e., two Instagram accounts owned by the same individual).
When viewing a profile opened from a message on a dashboard, there will be an additional message tab with details related to the specific message from which the profile was accessed.
Sprinklr creates an audience profile entry for every individual account that follows or interacts with any account connected to the system or that posts a message that matches a keyword in the listening insights system. These appear in the Audience Profiles function, accessed by clicking “Profiles” under “Audience Profile” in the Triage column of the Sprinklr Social tab on the launchpad.
Profiles can be filtered, sorted and counted to get an idea of the makeup of the general audience for accounts and the unit. Individual profiles can be examined, tagged and added to lists. Audience lists can be exported by users with this level of access within Sprinklr. Sprinklr users interested in creating client profile lists to add audience members to should contact University Communications and Marketing at Comms.WebSupport@msu.edu. This ability is typically granted to the Sprinklr user(s) with unit admin permission levels.
Sprinklr users can create saved audiences for use on various channels. When creating a saved audience, make sure to give it a clear name that indicates the unit and the audience membership criteria.
See the Sprinklr Knowledge Portal for articles related to “Audience Manager” for specific instructions on using this feature.
