SitecoreAI has deprecated Explorer and replaced it with Content Mode within Page Builder. Users now have multiple methods within Page Builder to edit page settings, taxonomy and various fields, without having to change apps.
Effective today, Sitecore is deprecating Explorer in SitecoreAI. This was a seldom-used interface for updating some components and settings. MSU’s documentation and training phased Explorer out months ago, and we don’t expect this deprecation to impact users.
SitecoreAI has introduced new modes in Page Builder.
Content Mode enables users to edit content for various components within this mode. Users can also edit many settings, such as taxonomy and news story author tags, without having to open Content Editor. Page settings are also available in the Page Content flyout menu in Page Builder, giving users multiple ways to work.
