MSU Privacy Statement

The official MSU Privacy Statement covers the collection and use of data through all web properties and has been approved by the Office of the General Counsel. 

  • Link to the MSU Privacy Statement from the footer of all institutional websites.
  • Contact University Communications and Marketing if the unit has a data collection use case not currently covered by the privacy statement. 
  • Use HTTPS on all digital properties to ensure the privacy and integrity of data being transmitted.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard

All MSU-sponsored or MSU-endorsed activities that involve acceptance of payment card transactions must be compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, or PCI DSS. See the eCommerce at MSU website for more information.
