Sitecore Troubleshooting: Page Versioning

Sitecore has confirmed a current issue with workflow versioning. When users add or delete a component on an existing page in Page Builder, the system generates a new version of the page but does not automatically move to that version in the Page Builder canvas. 

• If a user adds a component to an existing page, the component does not display where the component was added. The component was added to a new version of the page, but the user is not seeing that new version by default.
• If a user deletes a component from an existing page, the component remains on the page. The component was removed from the new version of the page, but the user is not seeing that new version by default.
• Editing content in a rich text component does not experience this versioning issue. 

• After adding or deleting the component, click the Version dropdown at the top-left corner of the Page Builder canvas area. Select the most recent (i.e., highest number) version. This version should show the component change.
• Continue to edit in this newest version and submit for approval to the publishing workflow, as normal.
