SitecoreAI Release Notes: July 14, 2026

Summary

The July 14 release includes accessibility improvements, layout refinements and site-specific updates. Updates include improvements to program and news-related components, clearer naming for Tab Panel items in SitecoreAI Page Builder, mobile display fixes for CTA buttons and Service Status support for D2L and tech.msu.edu.

This release will be pushed to production after 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 14.

New Features

Admissions Program Finder Updates

  • Updated Program Finder cards to support displaying multiple colleges when a program is associated with more than one college.

Enhancements

Featured News Component

  • Updated the See All News button alignment in the Featured News component so the button displays left-aligned.

Read Time Accessibility

  • Improved the text color contrast for Read Time content to better support WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility compliance.

Tab Panel Naming Update

  • Renamed the author-facing label from Side Tab Panel to Tab Panel in Sitecore AI Page Builder.
  • This update improves clarity because the same panel type is used by both the Tabs component and the Side Tabs component.

On-Page Story Grid Component

  • Updated the On-Page Story Grid component so story cards extend to the full container width, consistent with News Listing page behavior.

Bug Fixes (Platform)

CTA Button Mobile Display

  • Improved CTA button display across viewports so button text remains visible and consistent on mobile when it displays correctly on desktop.

Site-Specific Updates

Service Status Component

  • Added support for displaying service status content on D2L and tech.msu.edu.

Impact for Content Authors and Administrators

  • Program Finder cards can display multiple colleges when needed.
  • Featured News button alignment is more consistent.
  • On-page story cards now align more consistently with surrounding page content.
  • Tab Panel naming is clearer and more consistent in SitecoreAI Page Builder.
  • Read Time text has improved accessibility.
  • CTA buttons display more consistently on mobile devices.
  • D2L and tech.msu.edu can now display service status content.
