SitecoreAI Release Notes: June 30, 2026

Redirects Special Release

By: Bobbie Roberts

Summary

The June 30 special release focuses on improving redirect and Table component publishing behavior across the platform. This release updates the redirect process by moving redirects into redirect maps, applying workflow to redirect maps and removing legacy redirect items. It also improves publishing behavior for Table components so approved table content appears correctly on published pages.

This release will be pushed to production after 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 30.

New Features

Redirect Map Workflow Support

  • Added workflow support to redirect maps to improve governance, approval and publishing consistency.

Enhancements

Redirect Map Migration

  • Redirects have been migrated from individual redirect items into redirect maps.
  • Redirect maps were moved into the approved workflow state to support the updated redirect publishing process.

Redirect Management Updates

  • Updated redirect handling to support the new redirect map structure.
  • Users should no longer be able to insert legacy redirect items.

Bug Fixes (Platform)

Table Component Publishing

  • Fixed an issue where updates to Table components did not publish correctly after approval.
  • Table content now publishes more consistently when approved through workflow.

Impact for Content Authors and Administrators

  • Redirects are now managed through redirect maps instead of individual redirect items.

  • Redirect maps now follow workflow, improving governance and publishing consistency.
  • Legacy redirect item creation is no longer available.
  • Existing redirects were migrated and validated as part of the special release.
