Please join University Communications and Marketing in congratulating Michele Lemon on her retirement from MSU! While we are happy for her, we know that MSU is losing a great person who will take many years of knowledge and expertise with her, and we will miss all those things.
Michele joined MSU 20 years ago last April, initially working in MSU IT. She joined University Communications and Marketing in 2014. Those of you who know Michele know her as a very kind and helpful person. Working on the marketing platforms team, she has been instrumental in developing positive relationships with the people we serve and support across campus. She has been the quintessential “customer” advocate, always doing whatever she could to be of help whenever someone needed it.
Michele’s list of things to do in retirement finally reached the point where she decided it was time to tend to the list. Her official retirement date is Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
