SitecoreAI Release Notes: December 4, 2025

Summary

This release delivers improvements to accessibility, navigation structure, content rendering and publishing/deployment reliability. Fixes address issues in subnavigation, curated navigation, mixed content grids, news/event content and mobile page behavior. A platform-wide fix ensures Stories pages consistently load across all sites. Enhancements include improved redirect handling, deployment performance and a new modernized form handler.

The release will be pushed to production after 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4.

  • Modernized Form Handler
    • Introduced a new, secure form submission handler to replace the legacy email-based form processor.
    • Provides improved security, stability and compatibility with current platform standards.
  • Redirect File Support
    • Expanded redirect file handling to improve routing accuracy and support ongoing migration and restructuring work.

  • Deployment Performance Improvements
    • Optimized the Netlify PowerShell deployment script, reducing execution time and improving deployment reliability.

    • Ensured subnavigation headings use correct semantic heading levels for accessibility.
  • Subnavigation Content Load Order Improved
    • Ensured subnavigation content is available prior to page rendering, improving consistency and compatibility with assistive technologies.

Curated Navigation

  • Mobile Font Scaling Support Added
    • Fixed an issue where curated navigation text did not scale when browser font size settings increased.

Component Display

  • Mixed Content Grid Eyebrow Display Corrected
    • Fixed an issue preventing eyebrow text from displaying in the 1-column variant of the Mixed Content Grid.
  • Featured News & Events Eyebrow Labels Updated
    • Corrected eyebrow tag values displayed in Featured News & Events.

Mobile & Page Behavior

  • Footer Link Panels No Longer Open on Scroll
    • Fixed a mobile issue where footer link panels opened automatically when scrolling upward.

Story Page Loading Fix

  • Story Pages Now Load Correctly From Internal Links
    • Resolved a platform-wide issue preventing Story pages from loading properly when accessed through internal site links.
    • This fix applies across all sites using the shared Story page.

Site-Specific Fixes

  • MSUToday Collections Listing Page Updated
    • Resolved issues affecting display and filtering behavior on the collections listing page.
