New Name
You may have noticed that Sitecore XM Cloud has a new name and a new look. At the Sitecore Symposium earlier this month, the company announced the platform is now known as SitecoreAI. You’ll see the name updated throughout the platform, as well as new icons. University Communications and Marketing is working to update documentation on the DXStudio.msu.edu website to account for these changes.
New Features
Additionally, SitecoreAI comes with new AI-based features. It is common for tech companies to announce major product releases like this at a conference before their own teams are trained on the new tools and ready to enable customers. In this instance, only fifty Sitecore staff worldwide knew the announcement was planned.
In the coming months we will continue to meet with our customer success manager and various subject matter experts at Sitecore to learn more about these tools and enable them for use at MSU, where appropriate. We had several meetings earlier this week with our agency partner, RDA, to start this process.
Next Steps
It will take some time for the various teams involved to get up to speed on the offerings, enable features, develop supportive resources and roll them out. To ensure a quality platform experience for all users, we need to understand how the tools work and be able to address questions that may arise before turning them on for broad use.
We will keep campus SitecoreAI users informed of new features as they are made available. Documentation will be added to the DXStudio.msu.edu website to support these features, and additional trainings may be scheduled if deemed helpful.
